Louise Johnston is a second-generation Irish Visual Artist, based in the United Kingdom.

Highly regarded within her day profession, Louise’s passion for Arts & Visual medium has been a part of her journey since childhood. During the lockdown her weekend hobby excelled as she integrated ‘Happy Days’ into her life and a newly formed home studio, inspiring the first multi-medium abstract series.

“Like a lot of people during the pandemic, I found myself seeking a space where I could escape and immerse myself in a creative environment, where I felt free and not bound by the unprecedented restrictions. Although this ritual in the beginning, was purely self-therapeutic, after sharing some original pieces online, I found that my ‘Happy Days’ also resonated with others.”

Louise’s vibrant and captivating work has engaged audiences across the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond. Notably, she was commissioned by Fashion Stylist & Curator, Ingrid Hoey in early 2021, to create an exclusive series of limited edition prints for CA Design, Ireland, solidifying Studio LoJo Ltd into the market and into people’s homes, offices and creative spaces.

Servicing the demand of collectors and new found customers, Louise launched her direct-to-customer offering of new limited edition prints, original canvases and more in August 2022, via the launch of Studio LoJo by Louise Johnston on Shopify.
